Description

Lime Kiln Cottage is a cottage that likely dates back to the 18th century. It features stone walls with brick dressings and a tiled roof that has a brick dentil cornice, along with brick stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and has a single-storey lean-to on the south side, which is constructed of brick and stone with a tiled roof. The front entrance has a ledged door with a glass panel. On the ground floor, there are three horizontally sliding sash windows and one casement window, all of which have glazing bars. The first floor contains four horizontally sliding sash windows, also with glazing bars. At the rear, there is a brick lean-to with a tiled roof.
