Description
The pillbox, located north-east of Knoll House Hotel, is a 20th-century military structure. It has an irregular hexagonal shape and faces the sea to the east. The construction is made of shuttered, reinforced concrete, featuring three embrasures that look out towards the sea on the east, south-east, and north-east sides. On the west side, there is a hatch-type entrance that has been blocked with corrugated iron. Inside, there are indications of wooden shuttering. The pillbox has settled into the ground, nearly aligning with its embrasures.
