Description

This is a row of 18th-century townhouses, numbered 2 to 5, located on the east side of St John’s Hill. The buildings are constructed with a roughcast exterior and have a pitched tile roof, with stone slates visible above the eaves. Red brick stacks are also present. The houses are two storeys in height, with an attic level. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. Each range of windows features cased sashes with keystones. There are two front doors, each protected by a flat hood supported on cut brackets. Number 4 has a rear extension constructed of chequer brickwork. Numbers 2 to 6 and 8 to 11 form a group.
