Description
Number 37 on West Street is an 18th-century building constructed of chequered brick, featuring a pitched tile roof and stone slates at the eaves. The gable coping is made of brick, and there are red brick stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a band and a yellow brick modillion eaves cornice. On the first floor, there are two ranges of cased sashes with rubber voussoirs and keystones, along with one blocked window that also has rubber voussoirs and a keystone. Additionally, there is an oblong bay with a sash and glazing bars, and a door with four flush panels that bears the badge of the Lord of the Manor. This property is part of a group with numbers 33 to 43 on the same side of the street.
