Description

The New Inn is an 18th-century building located on the north side of The Quay. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a pitched tile roof with red brick stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with brick oversailing courses at the eaves. There are four ranges of cased sash windows, including one bipartite window on the ground floor. The attic includes three dormers with hipped tile roofs, tile-hung cheeks, and casements, one of which is a Yorkshire window. A modern porch has been added to the entrance. The New Inn is part of a group of listed buildings in The Quay.
