Description

Mickleton is a building that likely dates from the 17th century. It features timber-framed walls with brick infill, and the west gable wall is made of brick and flint. The roof is thatched with a brick stack. The building has one storey and attics, with a small timbered lean-to at the rear that has a thatched catslide roof. There is a ledged door next to the stack. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with lead lights. The attic includes two dormers with casements, also with lead lights, one of which is an original oriel window. This building is noted in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments as Monument 36.
