Description
The bridge over the Devil's Brook, located approximately 120 meters northeast of Bingham's Melcombe House in Melcombe Horsey parish, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a single segmental arch, which is supported by a three-part keystone and rusticated voussoirs. The bridge has moulded coping on its ramped parapet and returned splays. A portion of the bridge is also situated in Hilton Parish.
