Description
The remains of the parish church in Burleson include the chancel, with the north and east walls dating from the 13th century. The south and west walls were likely rebuilt in 1910 during repairs and reroofing. The structure features flint walls with ashlar dressings and currently has no roofs. In the east wall of the chancel, there is a 15th-century window with two lights and vertical tracery set in a pointed head. The north wall retains an original chamfered lancet light. Additionally, a 15th-century doorway with a casement-moulded head and jambs has been reset in the 20th-century west wall.
