Description
Nos 401 to 407 on High Street is a terrace of Purbeck cottages dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The cottages feature Purbeck Stone walls, with the front elevation made of ashlar stone, and Purbeck Stone roofs. They have brick stacks and are two storeys high.
No 401 has a modern glazed door, one double-hung sash window on the ground floor, and one modern window on the first floor. No 403 has a modern part-glazed door, one double-hung sash window on the ground floor, and one modern window on the first floor. No 405 features a modern part-glazed door and modern single-pane windows on both the ground and first floors. No 407 has a modern part-glazed door, one double-hung sash window on the ground floor, and one casement window on the first floor. There are single-storey rear additions to all the houses.
