Description

There are two headstones located 2 meters to the south of the south transept of the Church of St Wenna. One headstone commemorates George Wairen Iace of Trenean, who died in 1776, and his wife Joan, who died in 1787. The other headstone is for Thomas Reed of Widlake, who died in 1754, and his wife Mary, who died in 1743. Both headstones date from 1777 and 1754 respectively. They are made of slate and feature shaped heads with curved shoulders, displaying upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
