Description

Heigh-Ho is a house dating from the early 18th century, located on the east side of High Street in Boscastle. The building is constructed of rendered and painted stone rubble and cob, topped with a rag slate roof featuring gable ends. It has stone rubble end stacks with brick shafts.

The house has a two-room layout with a central cross passage, and a lean-to outshut was added to the rear in the 19th century. It stands two storeys high and has a nearly symmetrical front with three windows. The central entrance features a glazed 20th-century door, flanked by two-light casements with glazing bars, which were replaced in the late 20th century.

Inside, the ceiling beams date from the early 19th century, though some have been partly replaced. The building is part of a picturesque group along High Street in Boscastle.
