Bochym Cottage

Bochym Cottage is a house and servants' quarters associated with Bochym Manor House, dating from around 1850. The building features serpentine rubble walls with granite sills and lintels, and it has scantle slate roofs with serpentine ashlar chimneys located over the gable ends and cross walls of the wing. The layout consists of a central entry house with a two-room plan, and a service range at the rear left, which is connected to additional service accommodation that links to the rear gable end of Bochym Manor House.

The cottage is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window south front, showcasing original two-light casements with latticed wooden glazing bars. The central doorway features a ledged door and a gabled hood with an arch-braced and shaped wooden bargeboard. The rear right elevation has similar windows to those at the front. The interior has been partially inspected and retains much of its original carpentry and joinery.
