Description

The footbridge at the ford, located 150 meters south of Barton Farmhouse, dates from around the mid-19th century. It features stone rubble abutments and a central pier with a cut water on the east side. The bridge is spanned by granite lintels and follows the simple design characteristic of clapper bridges.
