Description
The garden wall and gate piers located to the southwest of Bossiney Court date from around the mid-17th century, with some parts rebuilt in the mid-19th century. The garden walls are constructed from slate stone rubble and enclose the garden in front of Bossiney Court. On the northwest side, the walls rise over 10 feet high and feature a row of probable pigeon holes near the top. In front of the house entrance, there is a pair of gate piers from the mid-17th century, made of roughly coursed slate-stone rubble, each with moulded slate caps and bases. The piers are square in shape, and their moulded caps are partly hidden by a dense growth of ivy.
