Description

The garden wall in front of Halgabron House is probably from the mid-19th century and was built around the same time as the remodeling of Halgabron House. Constructed from slate stone rubble and quartz, the low wall encloses the garden area. On the inside of the left-hand wall, there are four niches featuring round dressed stone arched openings. The exact purpose of these niches is unclear, but they may have been used as bee-boles.
