Description

The chimney at Deer Park Mine, built around 1850, is made of roughly coursed slate stone and was largely covered in ivy during its last survey in November 1987. It has a circular section that tapers towards the top and features former stoke holes at the base. Deer Park Mine operated as a tin mine from approximately 1850 to 1875.
