Description
Deer Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early to mid 19th century, with some minor later alterations. It features a painted roughly coursed slate-stone exterior with alternating granite angle quoins and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window front with segmental-headed glazing bar sashes that include projecting keystones. The central entrance consists of a segmental-headed six-panel door, with the top panels now glazed, sheltered by a gabled timber hood that has a cusped trefoil at the center. There are tall integral end stacks. At the rear on the left, there is a full-height gabled range that is set at right angles, which has two segmental-headed glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two segmental-headed wooden mullioned and transomed casements on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a small porch at the angle with the main range and a two-storey lean-to behind.
