Description

Wheal Vor is an 18th-century cottage located on the south side of Tyringham Road in Lelant. The building is constructed of coursed granite and stands two storeys tall. It features two windows with flat architraves, which contain 19th-century sashes with vertical glazing bars. The entrance has a modern glazed door framed by a slate surround. The cottage is topped with a slate roof that has gable ends and is complemented by a large stone stack. Wheal Vor is part of a group that includes Porthgwidden, Curlew Cottage, and St Uny's Cottage.
