Description

The General Store is an 18th-century cottage located on Tyringham Road in Lelant. It is built of granite rubble and has two storeys. The front features two 19th-century sash windows with vertical glazing bars, which have gable heads and shaped barge boards. There is a central doorway, and the building is topped with a slate roof. The right-hand end of the cottage dates from the late 18th or early 19th century and has a bias hipped slurried slate roof, along with a sash window that also has glazing bars.
