Description
The Gaff is a town house with a shop, dating from the early 19th century. It features roughcast render on studwork and a rag slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys high, with a regular two-window range. The windows are 16-pane hornless sashes with boxes that are flush with the wall. The shop front, which is from the early to mid-19th century, includes an entablature with a fascia supported by three pilasters with consoles. There is an angled shop doorway on the left that has an original pair of three-panel doors, an original small-paned shop window, and a 20th-century six-pane house doorway to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
