Description

These are two 18th-century granite ashlar houses, numbered 6 and 7, located on Fern Lea Terrace. The houses are two storeys high and feature three windows each. The ground-floor windows and the front entrance are set within semi-circular arched recesses. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. Above each first-floor window is a low, rectangular recess, possibly originally intended for second-floor windows. A panelled front door is topped with a fanlight. The building has a moulded eaves cornice and a parapet. Segmental-arched attic windows have been replaced with modern, flat-headed windows. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
