Description

Butter Well is a small rectangular building, likely dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate gable-ended roof, with the front gable being slate-hung. The building is set into a bank at the rear and has an open front with a 20th-century gate. Inside, there are slate shelves positioned above the water level.
