Description

This is a mid-19th century chimney located about 10 metres south of the barn at Trethill House, associated with a former brickworks on the site. The chimney is constructed from slatestone rubble with granite dressings. It features two stages: the first stage has a square plan with battered walls and a bull nose moulding at the top made of granite. The second stage is circular and tapered, topped with a corbelled string course and appears to have had an embattled parapet made of brick.
