1/100 Hill Chest Tomb and 2 other - chest tombs about 3 metres south east of the chancel of the Church of St Morwenna GV II

Group of 3 chest tombs. Hill memorial late C17/early C18; memorial to the west of the Hill memorial early C17; westernmost memorial probably late C18. Freestone ashlar and slate. Rectangular chests with inscribed slate lids. Easternmost chest commemorates John Hill, died 1697, and Martha Hill, died 1714. Angels heads carved in spandrels on lid. Tomb to the west of the Hill memorial has illegible inscription carved on the border of the lid, legible date of 1632. 3rd and westernmost chest tomb of the group has illegible inscription, date may be 1792.
