Description

Bullapit Bridge is a road bridge over the stream known as Tala Water, dating from around the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a narrow design with a segmental dressed stone arch and stone rubble parapets. The bridge is part of a group that includes Bullapit Hill Cottage and another cottage located approximately 80 meters to the southwest. Historical records indicate that in 1370, an inquest was conducted to assess the Prior of Launceston's responsibility for the bridge's maintenance.
