Description
The entrance to the courtyard and the flanking walls to the north of Radford Farmhouse date from the early 17th century. They are constructed of stone rubble and feature a rag slate roof over the entrance. The central entrance leads into the courtyard of Radford Farmhouse. It consists of a stone rubble surround with a 17th-century moulded timber doorframe that is decorated with ornate carved stops. There is an ovolo-moulded timber lintel on both sides, and the entrance is fitted with 19th-century plank double doors. Above the entrance is a slate hood. The entrance is flanked by high stone rubble walls that have flat coping and are ramped up at the ends where they connect to the entrance.
