Description

The headstone of Elizabeth Peters, located 5 metres east of the Church of St Tallan, dates from 1772. It commemorates Elizabeth, the wife of John Peters. The slate headstone features damaged rounded corners and is adorned with an incised angel's head that points at an hourglass. The inscription is in lower case lettering with serifs, and there is a verse below that reads:

'Greeve not for me my Husband Dear
I am not Dead but Sleeping Hear'

A heart is depicted below the verse.
