Description

The garden wall to the south west of Tremeer dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of stone rubble. This high garden wall extends south west from the left side of Tremeer and separates the yard and stables located to the south west from the lower terraced garden on the south east. The garden was redesigned and replanted by Major General E. G. W. Harrison, who resided at Tremeer. For more information, refer to the Country Life article on the gardens published on November 3, 1960, in volume 128, page 1018.
