Description

The Admiral Benbow Restaurant, located at 40 Chapel Street in Penzance, is an 18th-century building constructed from whitened granite rubble with raised pointing. It features a steep hipped roof covered in tarred slates and stands two storeys tall. The building has three windows, with modern sash windows featuring small panes on the upper floor and three modern fixed windows with small panes on the ground floor. Above the doorway, there is a decorative fascia board for the Admiral Benbow, which dates from 1959. This restaurant is part of a group of listed buildings on the northeast side of Chapel Street.
