Description
The Old Vicarage is an early 19th-century building located on St Stephen's Road. It is constructed of stucco with a slate roof, although part of the roof has been replaced with concrete tiles. The building has two storeys and a basement, featuring overhanging eaves and brick stacks.
On the north side, there are Gothic style windows framed in wood, three of which have pointed heads and glazing bar casements, with outer tripartite sections and pierced glazed quatrefoils in the side spaces. The basement has modern aluminium openings. The building includes a four-window return with glazing bar sash windows that have marginal glazing, and a tented verandah. The central door has panelled reveals.
Inside, several original features have been retained, including a top-lit staircase and a segmental arch in the hallway.
