Description
Ponjeravah Bridge is a road bridge located at the confluence of two streams, likely dating from the 19th century. It features a granite post and lintel design. The main bridge spans two sections of the main stream, supported by a granite central pier and large, roughly dressed granite lintels. The tributary bridge is constructed similarly but has a single span. Low granite rubble parapets are present, with cambered dressed granite coping on the main bridge and rough granite coping on the tributary bridge. The parapet on the north side of the main bridge extends into a lane and includes a curved corner. The streams flow into Polwheveral Creek, which is a tributary of the Helford River.
