Description

The cross head, located in the churchyard southeast of the Church of St Constantine, is likely a pre-Conquest structure made of granite. It consists of a circular head and a short section of the shaft, which is fixed into the ground without a base. The front of the head features a Greek or Maltese cross in relief, while the back may have a similar but recessed cross. The origin of the cross is not known.
