Description

The vestry and stables, located immediately south of Constantine Methodist Church, were built around 1880. The structure is made of granite rubble with dressed granite quoins, lintels, and cills. It features a grouted scantle slate roof with gabled ends, red clay ridge tiles, and ogee cast-iron gutters.

This two-storey building is situated on a sloping site, with the stables at the lower level accessible via a doorway on the south side that opens onto the road. Above, the vestry faces the chapel forecourt to the west and has a doorway at the north end.

The exterior is symmetrical with a two-window west front facing the forecourt, featuring 19th-century 16-pane sash windows. At ground level, there is a small window that provides light to the stable below. A flight of steps with an iron balustrade leads up to the vestry's doorway on the north end, while the south end has a plank door at the lower ground level for the stables. The east side of the building adjoins a cottage. The interior was not inspected.
