Description

This milestone, dating from the 18th century, is set into the garden wall of No. 3 on Penpol Road in Hayle. It has been reused in the 19th century and is a pyramidally-headed granite monolith with a relief inscription on the front. The stone is square in plan and is inscribed with "18 L".
