Description

Dating to the early 19th century, 21-26 The Terrace are a row of six granite ashlar houses built in pairs. Each block is three storeys high with two windows per floor. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Nos 21, 22, and 23 feature two-storey bay windows on both the first and second floors. Recessed entrances are located between the houses, accessed through semi-circular arched openings in screen walls. Rebated quoin stones are present, and the roofs are flat with a pitched hipped design, covered in slate. Nos 21 to 27 (consecutively numbered) form a cohesive group.
