Description

27 The Terrace is an early 19th century house that was originally stucco but is now roughcast. It has two storeys and features three sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor windows are adorned with cornices and consoles, and there are fluted Ionic quoin pilasters at the corners. A single string course runs along the building, and there is a moulded eaves course beneath the slate hipped roof. The house has a side entrance supported by fluted Ionic columns. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 21 to 27, which are consecutive.
