Description
The former vicarage, built around 1847, was designed by William White. It features a stucco exterior with Delabole slate gabled roofs and stuccoed gable and axial chimneys. The building has an irregular reversed F-shaped plan, which includes a U-shaped layout and a possible extension at the right-hand end of the main section.
Architecturally, the vicarage showcases Gothic style elements. It is two storeys tall with an attic over the right-hand wing. The east front displays a gable end on the left and another gable end towards the right, along with a possible extension that has a hipped end sweeping over an integral outshut, set back on the right. The left-hand gable end features a doorway with a slate hood supported by corbels, with an outshut to its left that includes a doorway and an arched window above. There are also irregularly placed mullioned windows, although some have had their mullions removed. The interior has not been inspected.
