Description
The terrace walls and steps at the south and west fronts of Glynn House were built around 1830 and are made of granite ashlar. The low ashlar walls feature chamfered coping and are punctuated by low square piers with square caps at intervals. These walls run along the south front of Glynn House, where a pair of piers marks the entrance to the lower garden. On the west front, the ground slopes upward, so only the coping continues, accompanied by three flights of granite steps with coping and piers that lead down to the garden. The piers at the base of the steps likely originally supported urns. Additionally, there is a flight of 15 granite steps with piers and coping to the northwest, which leads to the upper garden.
