Description

This chest tomb, located approximately 24 meters northwest of the Church of Saint Mylor, was erected in 1846 in memory of Lieutenant Henry Duperier of the 18th Hussars, who was 74 years old at the time of his death. It is made of white limestone and has a square base with panelled sides. The tomb features Tuscan corner columns that support a moulded lid cornice and a tented pyramid, which is topped with an urn.
