Description
The Bond Monument and an unidentified monument are located in the churchyard about 11 metres north of the north transept of the Church of St. Germanus. This pair of headstones dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. They are identical, each featuring an oval panel with a moulded border for an inscription. The headstones have a stepped nowy head adorned with drooping stylised flowers and leaves on the sides, along with a central cherub's head with wings, reflecting an archaic style. One headstone is dedicated to Francis Bond, dated 1832, while the second headstone has an illegible dedication.
