Description
This is a bank barn located approximately 30 metres south-east of the Church of St Bartholomew, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with dressed granite quoins and features a rag slate roof with gabled ends and clay ridge tiles. The barn has a small rectangular plan, with a central entrance on the front leading to the shippon on the ground floor. Above this is a barn or loft, accessible via steps or a ramp at the back, which leads to a wider doorway that is off centre. On either side of this doorway are ventilation slits for the shippon. One gable end includes a tall narrow opening with a stone triangular head.
