Description
The Faul chest tomb, located approximately 4 metres south of the east end of the Church of Saint Winnear, is a Grade II listed structure from the early 19th century. It commemorates Elizabeth Faul, the wife of John Faul, who died in 1823 at the age of 71, and her daughter Joan Carpenter, who passed away in 1802 at the age of 20. The tomb features incised slate set on a rectangular granite base, with monolith sides.
