Description
The churchyard retaining wall and gateway, located south of the Church of St Levan, were built between 1884 and 1885 by J. Reeves. The wall is made of coursed stone and features ashlar gate-piers. It serves as a retaining wall for the churchyard, which is situated high above the road on the south side. The site slopes down, with an arch leading from the road to steps that ascend to the vestry above. At the west end, where the road aligns with the churchyard, there is a gateway flanked by ashlar piers topped with large pyramidal caps. A wrought-iron overthrow and lamp were added around 1897, and there is a late 20th-century wooden gate.
