Description

This pair of gatepiers, located to the south of Croan, is likely from the 18th century. They are constructed of brick and are square in shape. Each tall brick pier features a moulded brick cornice topped with a flat slate cap and is finished with a stone ball finial. The low stone rubble walls that connect the piers have been rebuilt in the 20th century.
