Description

The tombchest of Constantine Moyle and others is located 7.5 meters south of the south aisle of the Church of St. James. It dates from 1781 and commemorates Constantine Moyle of Trethevan, who died in 1781, as well as Constantine Moyle of Trethevan, who died in 1800, and Richard Moyle, who died in 1802. The tombchest is made of slate stone rubble and features a slate lid that is inscribed with upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
