Stables 30 Metres To North Of Dinham And Garden Wall Adjoining To North East

The building is a coach house and stables, now used as holiday accommodation, located 30 metres north of Dinham, with a garden wall adjoining to the northeast. It dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The structure is made of rendered brick and stone rubble, with a brick wall on the right side. It has a renewed rag slate roof featuring gable ends on two shallow projecting wings at the front. Originally, it had a rectangular plan with stables in the center, a central doorway, and coach houses at either end. The coach houses are now garages, while the stables and first floor have been converted into holiday accommodation, which involved removing partitions and significant remodelling.

The building is two storeys tall and has a symmetrical facade with a 1:3:1 window arrangement. The central range is flanked by two shallow wings with gable ends. The ground floor of the central range features segmental arched openings, including a central plank door and two 12-pane windows. Above, there are two blind windows with glazing bars and a central 12-pane window. The flanking wings have 20th-century garage doors in segmental arched openings on the ground floor, with two round-headed windows above. A 20th-century glass reinforced plastic reproduction cupola sits on the ridge, topped with a 20th-century weather-vane shaped like a camel.

A stone rubble garden wall extends forward from the right gable end, featuring a high brick segmental arch. This garden wall continues to the rear from the right side wall and is made of brick in various bonds, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century.
