Description

No. 39 West Street is a house that likely dates from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of rubble and rendered, topped with an asbestos slate roof that features a large front lateral stack. It has a through passage plan, with the higher end on the left and the lower end on the right.

The house is two storeys tall, with metal-framed casement windows: three on the first floor and three on the ground floor, along with one to the left of the stack. The external stack has a shaped cap, and there is one small window on either side of the door. The interior has not been inspected but may still have some early features.
