Description
This is a cartshed or implement shed located approximately 30 metres northeast of Tregerthen Farmhouse, dating from the late 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan and is open at the front (south), with a two-bay design supported by one wooden post to the left of the middle. It is part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet situated within the ancient field system of this area of Cornwall.
