Description
This cattle shed, located 10 metres north of Trethinna Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a rag slate roof with a canted end on the left and a gable end on the right. The shed has an overall rectangular plan and is open-fronted, originally consisting of seven bays. It is a single-storey structure with roughly cut granite posts, and the bays between the posts are partly infilled with concrete blocks. The shed faces the farmyard of Trethinna Farm, and its rear elevation, which remains largely unspoilt, is situated very close to Trethinna Farmhouse.
