Description
Gribbin Tower is a navigation beacon built in 1832 by the Corporation of Trinity House of Deptford. It features painted red and white stripes and is constructed from ashlar. The tower is very tall with a square plan that slightly tapers as it rises. At the top, it has a corbelled parapet. There are narrow stair lights on two sides and a doorway at the base with a plain architrave. This tower is a prominent landmark on Gribbin Head.
